The last big sewing project I took on was my wedding dress. After the wedding, my attention switched to the garden, which I’m learning is basically required in peak growing season. But lately, I’ve found myself craving sewing projects. I’m day dreaming about sewing my first button-down shirt, a summer set I’ve been saying I’ll make for 2 years (lol), and a lightweight/barely-touches-the-body linen shift dress. But it takes me a little while to warm up to bigger projects like these. So I’m working on quick, satisfying, and (relatively) simple projects to prove to myself I’ve got the attention and stamina for more complex projects. Here’s what I’ve done so far:
